Does the job and as an alternative to taking the mount off, just store it face down and zip up.

i bought nthis as part of a package for my tom tom, however i am not impressed at all with it and went to wilkos and bought a camera case which is so much better and its better protected than with this product. i would not recommend this to anyone.

It is very good. Everything fits in and it is easy to open/close and appears to be very durable

I have a TomTom XL IQ Routes with TMC and the Hama Hard Case for TomTom One XL suits my needs almost perfectly, only thing that would make it better would be if there was either a bit more space in the GPS compartment so you didn’t have to remove the Easy Port Mount from the back of the GPS-device to fit it into the Hama Hard Case, or if there was a bit more space in the items compartment, which only have room for the antenna and the charger that goes into the car-lighter and powers the GPS-device.
Never owned an original TomTom Hard Case so I’m not sure if that would be any different.
Overall a good case, however the lack of space to fit both GPS-device, both wires(Antenna/Charger)and the Easy Port Mount into it prevents me from giving it the maximum score, so I’ll give it 4 out of 5.

neat and durable. two sections make it easy to store tom tom and all the cables
