Shoppers: TomTom’s no longer offer FM transmitting of voice instruction but TomTom & its retailers continue to FALSELY ADVERTISE the feature.
Existing TomTom users: if you update firmware above 8. 01 you LOSE the feature also. TomTom has disabled this feature for the entire world. Garmin, took a much more logical approach & only disabled it in 2 European countries that ban FM tranmission.
BUY THE GARMIN – better maps and no tricky updates or false advertising.
