I purchased this mount because I managed to lose the original car mount in a rental car while out on a business trip. The mount works great and is exactly like the mount that came with my original Magellan 1412 Roadmate. I haven’t had any problems with its suction force, and that’s after installing it in a dozen different rental cars. Works great.
